What is your turnaround time?

I am a professional writer and need a faster turnaround. Is that possible?

Do you offer "two-for-one" discounts?

I have an idea for a script but don't know how to develop it. Can you help?

I have two scripts, but I can't afford an In-Depth Analysis for both. Should I get two Script Evaluations?

Can you recommend my script to industry professionals? Can you help me find an agent?

What is your turnaround time?

Two to three weeks for Script Evaluations, which are done by consultants John Rainey has trained.

For In-Depth Analysis, turnaround time varies depending on the number of scripts in John's queue. John does his best to complete a critique within 4 weeks, but we recommend you contact us for the current turnaround time. [BACK TO TOP]

I am a professional writer and need a faster turnaround. Is that possible?

Plan ahead. If you are still working on a script, you can reserve your slot with a payment then send in the script when it is ready. This cuts down the turnaround considerably and has worked very well for a number of our clients. [BACK TO TOP]

Do you offer "two-for-one" discounts?

Unfortunately, we do not. Each script gets personal attention. To complete an In-Depth Analysis, John sometimes needs up to five days, so as much as we would like to offer you extra savings, we do not cut corners to save time.

Stop by our web-site at least once a month for special discount offers we run from time to time. [BACK TO TOP]

I have an idea for a script but don't know how to develop it. Can you help?

If you are absolutely sure you want to embark on a difficult journey of becoming a screenwriter, before you come to John, learn as much as you can from books and seminars. Read many, many screenplays. When you watch movies, pay attention to structure, characters, and dialogue.

John will read an outline or treatment and provide development consultation over the phone at the hourly rate of $85.00. The same applies to scripts under 60 pages. For incomplete scripts over 60 pages, we recommend the In-Depth Analysis. [BACK TO TOP]

I have two scripts, but I can't afford an In-Depth Analysis for both. Should I get two Script Evaluations?

We encourage new clients and, especially first-time writers, to get an In-Depth Analysis. John provides a tremendous amount of knowledge that you will be able to apply to your second script and all future work. [BACK TO TOP]

Can you recommend my script to industry professionals? Can you help me find an agent?

We have some agents and producers who will read scripts, but we rarely recommend scripts unless they are exceptional.

At the moment, we recommend selected clients’ work at Green-Lit, a market section on the Screenwriter’s Guild website (www.screenwritersguild.org). [BACK TO TOP]
